What is Jeuveau®?
Jeuveau® (onabotulinumtoxinA-xvfs) is an FDA-approved prescription medicine used to temporarily improve moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows in adults. By expertly targeting frown lines or “11’s,” Jeuveau® temporarily inhibits nerve signals that lead to muscle contractions, effectively smoothing “dynamic” frown lines from habitual expressions.
Before & After Treatment: Preparing Yourself
For first-time recipients, it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous. Injection-related effects such as localized pain, potential infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the procedure. To ensure a smooth experience, be sure to follow the instructions provided by your healthcare provider both before and after your treatment. 10-minute treatment!
When can I expect to see results?
Visible smoothing can become apparent as early as 3-4 days after the injection, with most individuals experiencing the initial effects in less than a week.
The maximum benefit is typically reached at about 30 days. While clinical trials suggest an average duration of up to 3 – 4 months, individual patients may have varying durations, either longer or shorter.
